About the Event

Liverpool born Ian qualified from Liverpool University in 1985. He has over 20 years experience in general practice both in the Private sector and with the National Health Service. He runs a Private Practice in the picturesque village of Thornton Hough on the Wirral concentrating on comprehensive reconstructive, aesthetic and implant dentistry.

Ian is also Director of The Dawson Academy UK and teaches dentists around the world the foundations of ˜complete dentistry™ as taught by The Dawson Academy founder, Pete Dawson. He is involved directly with the hands on courses of the Core Curriculum, seminars, & study clubs and provides continuing education to dental professionals across Europe.

He also lectures nationally and internationally on functional and aesthetic dentistry. He spends approximately two-thirds of his time in practice and the other third as an educator. He believes this balance keeps him on the leading edge of both disciplines.

The Schedule

7:00 pm - 10:00 pm Treatment Planning: Functional Aesthetic Dentistry with emphasis on the Worn Dentition This presentation will provide you with an introduction to a programmed approach to diagnosis and treatment planning. You will discover how to visualise optimum dentistry from an aesthetic, functional, biological and structural perspective. The focus of the programme is to integrate a comprehensive treatment planning process for any case into your practice. Finally, a consultation process will be discussed, ensuring each participant will enjoy a healthy case acceptance rate.
